Some selected projects I'd like to share with you

I want to showcase some of the work I have done, that doesn't make it to the shop or that I don't take to markets.

Some of the products are in use at our house, while others are waiting for an opportunity to find a new home.

Please reach out, should you be interested in any of the products you se here. It can very well be, that it's available or something similar can be made for you.

Lamp Shade

One of the first pieces for our home was this lamp shade, made of driftwood and a cord found on the beach tying everything together.

It's still in its place, enjoyable as on day one.

One of a Kind

Never again have I found a piece of wood like this. Everything was special about it. The shape, the way it had weathered, the rust stains and above all, these hundreds of tiny shells.

I combined it with a dimmable cylinder shaped filament bulb, that spreads an amazingly warm light.

A piece, that found it's way into the home of good friends on Fuerteventura.

Desk Lamp

Inspired by classical designs, I thought I can repurpose an old fisher buoy and driftwood to build a desk lamp.

It was very tricky, but I'm really happy with the result and it sure is one of a kind.

"This old buoy will make a nice lamp shade..." - I thought to myself and brought it home, cut into two pieces and built a standing lamp for it.
It came out really nice and spreads a great, warm light to any space.

Bathing Ladder Coffee Table

I came across this broken bathing ladder, that I took apart to only work with the wooden steps.

Once cleanded, slighhtly sanded and glued together, they now make a nice coffee table, that I combined with minimalistic steel legs.

Big Buoy Lamp

This is really a big b(u)oy... When I found it, it was full of water, easily over 100kg. I dragged it up a dune and came back the next day with a big drill, punctuated it and let it rinse, while taking a walk. Upon return it was empty and easy to bing home.
The deformation was there and s small hole, which was probably the reason to through it over board.
I opened it with a saw, to install a fitting and a lamp, thread the cable though the top that I then worked into an old rope.

It can sit on the floor or could be hanging from the ceiling.

A yoga studio in my neighbourhood asked for a custom lamp to bring the right atmosphere into their place.

I had just the right pice of wood, that I combined with ropes I also found on the beach.

The three lamps are equipped with textile-wrapped power cords and brass fittings.

Cable Drum Shelf & Table

I found this entire cable drum on the beach and knew I had to transform it into something.

The diameter was too big for two coffee tables as I had done before, so I decided to build a corner-shelf and a side-table.

Both came out just great the way they are.
